Class consists of the following:
1. French notebooking
2. Greetings and calendar time
3. Weekly conversations in French about daily and weekend activities
4. Nursery rhymes, poems, and songs to build vocabulary quickly
5. Active break with a game-like activity in French
6. Vocabulary related to a story or a Gouin series
7. Reading and translating the story
8. Talking about the story or series working toward narration in French
9. Picture Study – describing paintings and art in French
Students are expected to study Quizlet study sets Monday/Wednesday/Friday for 10 minutes and to set aside another 10 minutes one day per week for French copywork in their French notebooks. Those who take the time to do the extra work are able to speak and comprehend much more quickly.
