I’m Julie, a Charlotte Mason home educator who grew up in Québec in a French speaking home. I taught French Immersion in Canada before moving to the United States. My kids are bilingual and can speak both French and English. My children are now in school so I have more time on my hands to teach other children how to converse in French.
I have live online Charlotte Mason style French lessons for 8-12 year olds. The emphasis is on spoken French and is taught through learning vocabulary and then hearing the vocabulary in stories, poems, and songs, and doing picture narrations of beautiful paintings. We translate texts and create our own sentences with the vocabulary.
