About me
I'm Julie,
a Charlotte Mason home educator who grew up in Quebec in a French speaking home. I taught French immersion in Canada before moving to the United States. My kids are bilingual and can speak both French and English. My children are now in school so I have more time on my hands to teach other children how to converse in French.
I teach live online French lessons
in a Charlotte Mason style with courses ranging from 8 to 18 year olds. The emphasis is on spoken French and is taught through learning vocabulary and then hearing it in stories, poems, songs, and picture narrations of beautiful paintings. We translate texts and make our own sentences with the vocabulary.
