focus on communication in French with greater fluency and continue to master the verb tenses and grammar tenses learned and used in French 2 and 3

Beginner French – grades 5-7 – 9:30-10:15 ET
Continuing French – grades 6-7 – 10:30-11:15 ET
French 2 – grades 8-12 – 11:30-12:15 ET
French 1 – grades 8-12 (grade 7 by invitation or request) – 12:30-1:15 ET
Elementary French A – grades 1-4 – 1:30-2:00 ET continuation of French B
Elementary French B – grades 1-4 – 2:00-2:30 ET
Information
Grades are a guideline and are a bit fluid. The following can help you decide where to place your student:
French 1, 2, 3 and 4 have mandatory homework as they are classes for high school credit. Is your 7th or 8th grader very motivated to learn French? Then choose these classes.
For 4th graders – Beginner French has copywork for each day of class. Can your 4th grader comfortably copy five sentences? If not, choose Elementary French.
Elementary French A is for students who took Elementary French in 2024/25 (or if your student has already done a lot of French – email me if you aren’t sure).
Elementary French B is for students who are new or newer to French.
Classes are NON REFUNDABLE.
Please check your schedule carefully before committing. If things change and you are no longer able to take the live class, recordings will be provided for you and you will retain access to the Canvas Instructure Class page.
All classes will be recorded and available to watch in the Canvas classroom each week in case of absence.
Class size – 10 -12 students per class. I allowed two of the classes to reach 12 students in 2024. However, a class size of 10 allows for more student practice and interaction.
Classes start the week of August 18 and conclude the week of May 4th.
Tuition for the year:
Elementary Classes – $530
French 3 and 4 class – $530
Beginner and Continuing Classes – $760
French 1 &2 Classes – $800
Deposit $150 to hold your spot. Balance due May 1st. Registrations after June 1st must be paid in full.
Payment plan available (payments due May 1st, June 1st) with an administration fee of $15 extra per payment.
